The slip on the pylon access track has been cleared. After walking in it took ZL3TC and ZL2BRF approximately 4 hours to remove enough of the slip for a 4WD line service vehicle to get past. The slip before and after clearing can be seen in the two pictures below.


The broken conductor that has caused the power outage at the Belmont site is the missing left-hand wire between the two power-poles in the bottom half of the picture below.

A lines company has been contacted to repair the broken line, however the approaching bout of bad weather is likely to delay the repair.
